Babies and angels are my favorite creatures. There were four babies born in my Muir Beach home. I wanted to create something special for these babies and their mothers, a gift that no one else could give. Living in a communal setting has been my life for a long time. Allowing people to bring their children to work has been a way for me to support women, especially single mothers who would not be able to work otherwise. The handprints and footprints used in the art are from the actual babies who lived with us.
